Weighing in at under 1 kg (930gams), CREW4 is designed for hikers who value weight but aren’t willing to sacrifice performance or comfort.
Easy Installation
Easily pitching with one tent pole and four trekking poles, CREW4 can be installed in 10 minutes once you get used to it.
The shelter equips with 10 pegs (8 for installation, 2 for guy lines).
Size & Capacity
The shelter comfortably fits 4 people sitting (max 6), 3 people lying down (max 4). Plenty of room could easily accommodate 2-3 camping chairs.
Note
CREW4 is a shelter that values light weight and easy installation rather than a gear with too many features.
Please consider that selection and concentration of functions were necessary to stick to the original purpose of the shelter.
Note that this product is NOT designed for camping.
It is advised to avoid using a wood stove as the fabric is very thin and the ceiling is low. The vents are also not retractable.
Although Dyneema fabric offers maximum strength with minimum weight, it may have lower durability compared to fabrics of 30 danier or higher. Dyneema has an unmatched density and strength-to-weight ratio, but it is vulnerable to puncture and friction. Care must be taken to avoid contact with any sharp or pointed objects.
